1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out rules you must follow when accessing or using the YesMeta website, API, SEO tools, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). It applies to all users — guests, free registered users, and Premium subscribers. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

2. General Rules

You agree that you will not, and will not assist any third party to:

Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or that infringes any third-party right.
Interfere with, disrupt, damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service (including, without limitation, denial-of-service attacks, exploitation of performance-intensive tools en masse, or attacks against the underlying infrastructure).
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, including user accounts, databases, administrative panels, private APIs, network systems, or non-public tool outputs.
Circumvent, defeat, bypass, or reverse-engineer any security, rate-limiting, throttling, authentication, or licensing mechanism protecting the Service or a third-party website being scanned.
Modify, adapt, translate, disassemble, decompile, or reverse-engineer any software, code, or algorithm used to provide the Service, or to create derivative works based on it except to the extent (if any) applicable law specifically prohibits this restriction.
Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, attribution, or other legal notice displayed within the Service or in its outputs.

3. Acceptable Use of the Crawlers, Scanners & SEO Tools

Our tools perform automated requests against third-party websites on your behalf. It is your responsibility to ensure every URL, domain, host, API, or endpoint you submit belongs to you, or that you have the explicit permission of the domain/API owner to run scans against it. Specifically:

You may only submit URLs that you own, operate, or have written authorization to test.
You must respect robots.txt directives of target sites. If a target domain disallows automated crawlers, you may not use our tools against it without the domain owner's explicit written waiver.
You will not use the SEO Audit, Screenshot, Redirect, Meta-Tag, Security Headers, or Sitemap tools against government, banking, healthcare, or other sensitive websites unless you are authorized by that organization. Testing your own property is always fine.
You will not use the SMTP Tester, Port Checker, or any network-level tool to probe or brute-force hosts you do not own. These tools are intended for you to verify your own server configuration.
Bulk or automated submission of large URL lists is only permitted for Premium subscribers and only for URLs they own or manage. Free/guest accounts may not use scripts or multi-account tricks to submit URLs at volumes exceeding their per-tool rate limit.

4. Content You Submit or Store

You agree that any content, data, URLs, subscriber email addresses, or support communications you upload, submit, or store in the Service:

Does not and will not violate any law, regulation, or third-party right (including privacy, publicity, IP, and confidentiality rights).
Is not unlawful, harassing, abusive, tortious, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
Does not contain viruses, malware, ransomware, trojans, worms, logic bombs, time bombs, adware, spyware, or any other malicious or technologically harmful code or payload.
Is not submitted for the purpose of phishing, impersonation, spoofing, fraud, identity theft, or social engineering.
Will not be used to send spam, bulk unsolicited emails, pyramid schemes, chain letters, or unwanted commercial messages.

5. Newsletter & Email Subscribers

If you use YesMeta's newsletter features to contact subscribers, you warrant that every subscriber has provided fully compliant, verifiable opt-in consent. You will comply with all applicable email-marketing laws, including without limitation the CAN-SPAM Act (US), GDPR/PECR (EU/UK), CASL (Canada), and the Spam Act (Australia). All newsletter emails sent through YesMeta must include a clear, working unsubscribe mechanism and a physical mailing address per anti-spam requirements.

6. Security

You must not use the Service to:

Upload or distribute malicious content intended to compromise YesMeta or any third party.
Test for vulnerabilities, exploit security weaknesses, or scan for open ports on infrastructure belonging to YesMeta or its vendors.
Intercept, monitor, harvest, or exfiltrate the credentials, session tokens, or personal data of other YesMeta users.

If you discover a potential security issue in YesMeta, please report it to us responsibly at support@yesmeta.com before disclosing it publicly. We thank and acknowledge responsible reporters.

7. Rate Limits & Fair Usage

Our tools are protected by tier-based rate limits and per-tool quotas published on the Pricing page and enforced via our tool_usage_hits ledger. You agree not to create multiple guest sessions, multiple free accounts, or use proxies/VPN rotation to circumvent rate limits or bans. Any behavior YesMeta reasonably determines to be quota-evading, scraping-adjacent, or unfair to other users may result in throttling, blocklisting, or account termination without prior notice.

8. Breach & Enforcement

If we, in our sole discretion, believe you have violated this AUP, we may take any or all of the following actions, with or without prior notice:

Issue a written warning.
Temporarily or permanently throttle or block access to specific tools or IP addresses.
Suspend or terminate your account (including, in severe cases, any Premium subscription without refund where the breach was fraudulent).
Remove any content you submitted that violates this AUP.
Report unlawful activity to law enforcement or other competent authorities.
Seek injunctive relief or other remedies available at law or equity.

9. Reporting Violations

If you believe any user is violating this AUP, please notify us at support@yesmeta.com with the subject "AUP Violation Report" and include evidence (screenshots, tool URLs, timestamps, IPs) so we can investigate.

10. Updates

This AUP may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date below and (where appropriate) notified via email or in-product banner to active subscribers 30 days before taking effect.
